Individual Music Therapy
Bay Area Music Therapy offers person-centered relationship-based Individual Music Therapy Services to support creativity, self-expression and self-empowerment. Serving people of all ages and abilities, Individual Music Therapy Services are provided by one of our Board Certified Music Therapists at one of our two studios, located in Oakland and Santa Rosa. In-home service can also be arranged throughout the greater Bay Area depending upon location and therapist availability.
As a private pay service, individual goals are agreed upon by the person receiving service, the music therapist, and parent or caregiver, if possible. Goals will be addressed within the therapeutic relationship, and may be related to communication, cognitive, emotional, physical, psychological, and social needs. When clinically appropriate, we encourage parent/caregiver involvement.

We offer 25-minute and 50-minute sessions. When providing in-home service, there is a 50-minute minimum per visit, and mileage may be billed for depending upon location.
